A Doraemon flying game set in outer space

Doraemon: Cosmic Copter is a free, fan-made arcade game about a brave little space flight. Put on an astronaut helmet, start the yellow Bamboo Copter and fly freely in every direction through stars, asteroids and drifting satellites. Every run is a fresh chance to collect more dorayaki and beat your own score. Watch out for Gian (Jyan): he rockets in from the right with a fast, outstretched punch.

Journey mode takes you from Moonlight Launch to the Candy Nebula, Saturn Ringway, Comet Crossing and the Cosmic Gateway. Each sector lasts 30 seconds. Reach a new sector to unlock it for future flights and recover one heart, up to three. Endless mode keeps the adventure going while the speed gradually increases.

Power-ups worth flying for

  • Bubble shield: protects against one collision for up to 10 seconds.
  • Star magnet: pulls nearby stars and dorayaki toward you for 9 seconds.
  • Time pocket: slows the scrolling hazards for 6 seconds.
  • Copter dash: gives 2 seconds of protection and faster flight, then recharges for 14 seconds.

How to play Cosmic Copter

  1. Choose Journey or Endless flight. Pick Chill for a gentler pace or Classic for a faster challenge.
  2. On desktop, use the arrow keys or WASD to fly left, right, up and down. Combine directions for diagonal flight. Release the controls to hover. On mobile, use the direction pad or drag anywhere on the playfield.
  3. Fly through the spaces between rocks. Stars guide you through the gaps. Drifting satellites and faster comets appear in later sectors.
  4. When GIAN INCOMING appears on the right, change altitude to leave the marked lane. Gian locks his target before rushing left. A successful dodge earns 75 points; a punch costs one heart and knocks Doraemon back. A bubble shield or a well-timed Dash blocks it.
  5. Collect stars for points and dorayaki for a bigger bonus. Collect quickly to build a star streak with a multiplier up to ×5. Gather 12 stars in a run for a 250-point mission bonus.
  6. Press Space or Shift, or tap DASH, when you need protection. Pause with P or the pause button; use fullscreen for a larger view.

A tip for a longer run

Use small movements and release the controls to hover while you line up a gap. Move forward to reach collectibles or back to give yourself space, and keep Dash ready for a close call. There is no collision penalty for gently touching the top or bottom boundary.

Before you head into orbit

Is Doraemon: Cosmic Copter free to play?

Yes. You can play the full browser game free without installing an app or creating an account. It is a fan-made game hosted by Play Classic Arcade.

Can I play the Doraemon space game on a phone?

Yes. The game supports portrait and landscape screens. Use the direction pad to move up, down, left and right, or drag your finger around the playfield. Slide across the pad for diagonal movement. Release to hover, and tap DASH for protection. Fullscreen gives you more room when your browser supports it.

How do Journey and Endless modes differ?

Journey has five 30-second sectors and ends when you reach the Cosmic Gateway. New sectors stay unlocked in this browser. Endless has no final destination; hazards gradually get faster while you try to improve your personal best. Scores are kept separately for each mode and flight difficulty.

Does the game save my score?

High scores, unlocked sectors and flight counts are saved in local browser storage when it is available. They stay on the same browser and device. Clearing site data removes them. If storage is blocked, you can still play, but your progress lasts only for the visit.

How do I avoid Gian’s punch?

Watch the warning on the right and move above or below the marked lane before Gian rushes in. His punch targets the lane shown during the warning. Use Dash as he gets close if you need protection, or collect a bubble shield. Each rush can remove at most one heart.

Why did the game pause when I changed tabs?

Your flight pauses when you leave the page, open How to Play, or rotate your phone. Select Keep Flying to continue when you are ready.
